Bjorkman takes over the role recently vacated by Goran Ivansevic

Jonas Bjorkman has been hired by Croatia’s Marin Cilic to fulfill the coaching role left vacant by Goran Ivanisevic when he and Cilic terminated their partnership earlier this year. Ivansevic is now working with Tomas Berdych.

Bjorkman, a former World Number Four had previously been working with Andy Murray when Amelie Mauresmo had been on maternity leave.

“I’m very excited to start working with Marin. We have known each other for many years since I was active (on the tour).” Bjorkman stated in an interview.

Hell of a start for them. I always liked Jonas, crafty player and probably a bit of an overachiever if anything.
